Best jobs for 18 year old?

Ow thats a nice amount of money. If you don't mind telling me what is the average rate for a new saleman at a car dealership. How much do you get paid an hour, a day or a week? Or is it based on how many deals you may perform? You don't have to tell me if your not confortable with the amounts its ok I think it may be too personal myself.

I found a job or litle company anyone can run. How would anyone like to make $500.00-1,000.00 dollars from getting someone to book a ticket to go to China through your own site. It's called YTB and you have to pay $ 500.00 to join the company and then $50.00 monthly to have them run the site. All anyone has to do it out the site YTB gives them online somewhere in google or in the yellow pages if they are even used and have the money come in every week. Yea $500.00-$1000.00 for just getting one family or person to book travel on your site. Is this good?

Sounds like a pretty amazing scam.

I work for Princeton Review too. It's a great job, but you MUST be an awesome people-person. Otherwise, you won't make the cut. If you are, then the compensation is terrific, and you are really making a difference.

I recommend going into banking(teller/loan consultant) as a first job. I went into sales/customer service and am finding it difficult to make the transition to finance without a degree.

No this ytb.com program really does work. I have a friend who's parents do that. He said they make at least $500.00-$700.00 for having one family book a ticket to a different country through that site. Not sure if I want to waste $500.00 on just trying it, plus you have to pay $50.00 a month for the site.

Working at the bank might be good though, I have to think about it. Well thanks for your help.

Ok nevermind the ytb (your travel biz) thing. Anyone anything about tax leen, or tax deeds? Just how I found the thing for ytb i found that realestate brings good money too. Not only is it cheep and affordable but the money you put into is like $2,000.00. I found a couple of homes where they cost like $1,000.00 to $3,000.00 and they are not like a little shed. This one house I found was $3,000.00 if you bought it through tax leen or deed not sure what that is. The house at 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, 1 dining, 1 family room, living room and a kitchen. The house was kind of run down figureing that you are taking a house that the bank toke from someone elsem, since they were in debt or your taking a home that the old man across the street used to live in but is now no longer there. Anyone know anything about this real estate business?

sorry about the spelling mistakes above. It doesn't let me edit it?

It's based purely on how many cars you sell. The downside is that you can waste a day and not sell anything. The upside is that you can make a week's pay with one deal. I'm paid 20 percent of the profit made on a car. For example, if the dealership makes $3000 profit, I get $600 dollars. The lowest I can make on a deal is $100. I got the job networking (my dad's the sales manager). I'm sure dealerships everywhere can use extra help in the summer though.

By the way, its also good for networking (if your into finance and all that) if you work for a dealership in a more affluent town. I sell cars to investment bankers, traders, and I recently sold a car to a VP of Chase's Asset Management Department. So keep that in mind too.

Yes, I think working at the car dealership would be a good idea. As a first job. The pay seems to be good and the more people skills someone has the more of a chance someone has to sell a car to others, 20% or around that would be pretty good. I have to think about it. That may be good to start to save for some other thing I have had on my mind.

I am someone that would like money but without much work. I am not saying I am lazy but my family members or some of them at least buy companies and sell them into bits and peices for more money. Then there are some people that may buy a restaurant and just keep having some of the income come in your mail box for use. Now I am not saying one restaurant is going to help but maybe a couple of those and then a motel/hotel or apartment building. I have come ot beleive these days anyone can get a loan or even a grant for thousands of dollars. (A grant is money the government gives away to the public every year and the public not having to pay it back, beleive me $40,000.00 was given to my mother to use how she wanted on her house. Try typing in google MGR and something will come up.)

Isn't that a good idea too? Just buy buildings and let someo f the money walk right into your bank account/

Sorry did not have much time to type things today but i hope you can read or comprehend what was i was saying.

Tutoring generally pays well, but other than that, look at upscale restaurants. Tips do add up...a bunch of my friends and I went out to dinner before senior prom, and we gave $90 in tip. And the waiter that did our table probably did a few others.

I do enrichment programs although I'm about to ding 20, technically the job can be started at 18. Just look around elementary schools and ask about their enrichment programs and contact the assosciation dealing with it. I teach movies to kids after school for onehour... I get paid about 30 bucks for that hour.. once a week.. taxes are not taken out... and you can teach as many classes as you want so technically if u wana just work 1 hour a week, you'll be making 30 bucks a week.. if you wana teach at 5 schools a week, that's 150 a week.. etc. etc. e-z-money. sorry about spelling.. i got tired half way through typing this

ow alrite thanks. Appreciate the help. ;)
