I'm looking for the best library on campus and it must be carpeted (I hate plastic tiles) and somewhat comfy.

Biosciences Library in VLSB.

My Favorites:

The Thomas J. Long Business and Economics Library in Haas (Has Carpet)

The Engineering Library in Bechtel Hall

The East Asian Library

The best library is the East Asian Library. It's new and the desks are very nice. All in all, it's a great place to go if you want to get some work done. However, it does not have carpet. Instead, the lower floors and the walls are concrete (which helps reduce noise dramatically) and the upper floors are hardwood and the windows have great views.

My favorite carpetted library is the chemistry library. The building is kinda cozy but a bit noisier.

If you're looking to do some reading try Doe Library and the North Reading Room.

(There seems to be a shortage of carpetted libraries on campus.)

with this heat wave i now have to add cold to that list

dont forget the swimming pool.
