Wellā¦that would be a problem for me and my oriental rugsā¦with fringe.

Roomba update (the i7 model) - We put our tree up this weekend and we have a loose tree skirt. I was able to put a ādo not cleanā barrier around the tree via my app and it worked beautifully! (I delayed my morning walk so I could sit and watch just in case :)). The roomba slowed way down and did a mapping of the ābarrierā and then went and cleaned around it.
It looks like you can add as many barriers as you need in any room and it was really easy to do.

I just received this awesome device. Negative reviews are mostly from people trying to use it on carpets. Canāt they read the description? It is designated to dust hardwood floors. And no, it will not pick up a whole bowl of cerealā¦ just an occasional piece, dust, and cat hair (some complain that the dustbin is too small for pet hairā¦ people, you need to sweep your floor more often). Awesome tool for my hardwoods, and it is so lightweight and great for our two flights of wood stairs!
