<p>that's not to say there are no pretty girls at all-women schools. and girls there obviously have social lives. just saying, the kind of hot girl you and i would imagine would go to a coed school</p>

<p>People who go to one school generally go there for reasons after academic. Once they decide that part they want to be where they can feel most comfortable, and people like surrounding themselves with good looking people.</p>
<p>And to essentially answer your question... schools aren't hot the people at the schools are hotter than at other schools</p>
<p>what i noticed at the USC orientation...very nice looking girls in ALL fields, even engineering where females are a large minority. i think i'll be happy there :p and it's LA...people care about how they look, for better or for worse.</p>

<p>and i have an anecdote about "student body" as a term...i went to the Regents' Scholar presentation at UC Irvine went with my loud sister and her louder friend (since they go to CSULB and wanted to see UCI...my dad was feeling ill as well). during the opening presentation they had students that had received the scholarship before. in the Q&A, one of the guys (who we'd jokingly already assumed to be a little shady) said:</p>
<p>"Definitely spend the night at the universities you're considering. I stayed at UCI for a night and got a really good feel of the student body." </p>
<p><em>in case you didnt see it, note the possible, but probably unintentional innuendo</em> the three of us busted out laughing and went "ooooooh snap!!!" i'm sure to the great bane of the more serious people there...oh well haha. it was classic.</p>

<p>I never thought of the people at Nova as extremely wealthy, but whatever. The wealthy people from my school usually go out of state.</p>
<p>nova isn't wealthier than any other top tier private school in this country, but generally i see no correlation between wealth and looks of the student body</p>
<p>NYU has lots of lookers for a prestigious school.</p>
<p>i saw no "lookers" at NYU when i was there; unless purple hair, multiple piercings, volcom/ independent t-shirts, 'designer' torn jeans, etc. embodies the "looker" you are looking for.</p>

<p>I take it you've never been to nova. Its on the Main Line of Philly, the wealthiest strech of towns in the country. Everyone is very very wealthy. Come to Nova on a day before a vacation, you'll see the wealth and the limos!</p>
<p>You are way off on the wealthiest part, but the thread is not about wealth is about the quality of the opposite sex, and yes nova is good but is not the best, it is the santa clara of the east</p>
