Best Movie You've Watched in Class?

Juno-sociology h: reminded me of napoleon dynamite in an indie sort of way. Not interested in those types of films:

Beautiful Mind- sociology h: liked it, though the mood is kind of spoiled when people talk throughout the whole movie.

Dr. StrangeLove- APUSH: liked it, especially when the teacher told us to look for the sexual innuendos and references littered throughout the film

Breakfast Club- APUSH: liked it

Lord of the Rings (entire triology)- AP HumanGeo: LOTR nuff said

Romeo and Juliet (modern)- English II h: gangster R&J, so-so

separate but equal- apush

ah The Chorus was so good! I didn't see it in french class though, haha I saw it outside school

I'd have to say Hotel Rwanda in AP World

Borat - US Gov
:D

Hotel Rwanda was amazing. I saw it in geography this year.

Whale Rider was one of the best I've seen.

LA CATRINA FTW!
ok so it's not actually a movie, but it's the funniest shiz ever

one flew over the cuckoo's nest in ap lit
volver in ap psych (which is taught by the spanish teacher)
glory in american history i
badlands in ap lit
and some movie about oscar wilde in ap lang, my class was obsessed with it

A Cane Toad movie in enviro

if anyone has seen it they will know what I'm talking about ;)

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum in Latin. My favorite musical of all time. :D

The Power of One!

Best movie EVER

OH, and we watched Flash Gordon in APUSH, last year after the AP test. Good times.

Definitely A Beautiful Mind in psychology and the Dinner Game (le diner de cons) in French language.

And Supersize Me! in health! Ah, freshman year.

Citizen Kane - AP Art History
Star Wars all 6 - AP Chem ;)

Mmmm...definitely gotta say the movie called "The Human Body" (I think?), where a couple goes into a MRI machine and have sex while scientists observe what's happening during the intercourse.

It was nothing like anything I've seen before.

Since I took film for three years in high school... :

History of American Film:
Once Upon A Time in America
North By Northwest
Bulworth
Ace in the Hole
The Kid

European and World Film:
Rashomon
Shoot the Piano Player
Aguirre, Wrath of God

Ethics and Moral Theology:
Crash

Religious Themes in Film:
Contact
Bruce Almighty
Groundhog Day
The Devil Meets Prada
Fight Club
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
The Seventh Seal

All I can remember at the moment. Damn, my H.S. is awesome.

Toy Story! Tenth grade English-don't remember why, I think our teacher made up some lame excuse just to watch it. Hercules was good too in Latin I (the Disney version-gotta love those Disney movies).

Mrclassicfreak- I have seen that movie in anatomy and physiology! lol. that really was one interesting movie.
My favorite movie for AP Euro would be Reds
My favorite movie for AP Lang would be Dead Poets Society. so sad
For AP Econ my favorite would be A Beautiful Mind we also watched FIST (Federation of Interstate Truckers) with Sylvester Stallone even though I'm pretty sure it had nothing to do with econ.

OMG. I 100% agree. I would love it more if I didn't have to watch it with my Spanish III class though.

Also, I remember watching some documentary about the MIT Blackjack team (not the movie 21 that just came out). That was pretty awesome. :)

And, and we watched Buscando Nemo in Spanish as well. Me encanta DORI especialmente por que su voca es de Ellen DeGeneres.

@kwu, do you mean The Devil WEARS Prada? You said "The Devil MEETS Prada."

AP Lit -- "All About Eve."
AP Euro -- "Queen Margot." Even though there was copious nudity and the teacher was watching for our reactions, it was awesome. And when else can you see 16th-century religious wars in the movies?
Honors French IV -- "Au revoir les enfants." So sad, but so amazing.
AP French V -- "La Vie En Rose." Casting is perfect, and Edith Piaf's music is so intense.

atrophicwhisper:
Yeah, haha.
I made that post after being an insomniac for three hours.
