The two best movies that I've ever watched in class (and for class, not just for fun) are Glory (in US History) and Apollo 13 (in Chemistry).

I've actually seen some pretty good films in class (Dr. Strangelove *and *The Graduate *were both exquisite), but I'm pretty upset that the honors English 12 class got to do an entire unit on film criticism and watched *Rear Window *and *Citizen Kane, whereas us AP Lit slaves got to take practice AP exams all week.

My only consolation is that, because I took those additional AP classes, I got into an elite university (U Chicago), whereas most of them will be wasting away at Podunk U.

I know, I know. I’m a bitter and miserable person. In my defense, however, might I say that Rear Window *is an amazing film, and *Citizen Kane *unbelievable? If they had only watched *Armageddon, I wouldn't be so acrimonious...

The Glass Menagerie (1987) with John Malkovich. Watched it in English class and I laughed so hard.

"One Night in Paris" someone in class actually brought the VHS lol...but we couldn't watch it of course

matrix and matrix reloaded in ap lit
