I’m a junior, live about an hour away from the city and am an NY resident. I’m having trouble finding info on NYC nursing schools (BSN programs). The only ones I have found are NYU and Hunter. Are they the only good ones?
Im pretty sure NYIT has a nursing program, but I’m not sure if it’s good
Hunter is probably considered the best out the cunys but competitive. York college in Jamaica has a nursing program although I don’t know how good it is. The college of staten island has a nursing program as well and from what I heard it’s not bad. I don’t know where you live but if you live on long island, Stony Brook is a very good choice for anything health related and cheap if you commute. SUNY Farmingdale also has nursing. I believe Lehman college in the bronx (another cuny) has nursing as well. You have a number of options for your BSN in the area.
I don’t know how good NYU nursing school is but from an information session, they said their nursing school graduates have the highest first year income. Even higher than those went to NYU Stern.
Also Molloy, Adelphi and St. Joesephs on LI.
