So where's the best pizza? My family's coming up next weekend and they want some good pizza.

I've eaten at The Nines which is pretty good, but what's out there that's better?

Sindbad has fine pizza, IMO.

In my opinion, Sammy’s is pretty good. Not as good as back home, but it’s the best I’ve tasted here in Ithaca. Now I want pizza! Pizza always reminds me of the Ninja Turtles. :p

Mama Teresas in collegetown :)

New York City

Absolutely agree with ^. It 's worth the 4 hour drive. haha

definitely appel

Actually, if anyone is ever in NYC they might as well cross the Hudson River and go to Hoboken, NJ. Benny Tudino’s. Trust me it’s worth it.

My only complaint is that the slices are literally about the size of a newborn baby…they serve each slice on two paper plates because it won’t fit on one plate, lol. I can barely finish half a slice, but I know lots of boys who eat it all and say “it wasn’t that big!” Umm yes, yes it was. :p

I typically just settle for the Ivy Room pizza, its much better than dining hall pizza, but it is only open mon-fri.

go to chicago. that’s where the real pizza is.

^ I prefer NY style pizza over thick deep dish stuff. Not that I dislike that, I just prefer NY.

Ithaca dominos was actually not that bad. Not anything amazing but not bad if you don’t want to spend a lot of money.

I genuinely dislike Chicago pizza. And Chicago hot dogs. Very unappealing IMO.

The best pizza I’ve had was in Italy, no surprise, this busy place on Via Trastevere in Rome. Incredible. For NYC, I’m a big fan of Luzzo’s on the UES, the closes I’ve come to the place in Rome.

In Ithaca, I haven’t had a great slice beyond the late night munchies (which was satisfied by either CTP, DP Dough, or the Hot Truck). Take your family and go down to Wegmans. Eat at the cafe, it’s better than any pizza you can order out in Ithaca.

Di Fara’s in Midwood Brooklyn-$5 pizza and best pizza in the whole of NY state
