I've seen many threads asking for ways to improve a certain section, but I want the best book overall. I got a 1530 the second time and even less the first. I'm only taking it one more time in September and I want at least a 2000.

Also I wouldn't mind tips on how to use each book. I have the Blue book, Princeton review, and Kaplan currently. Should I use one of those three or another one? Like I said, I want the best one.

Do not waste your time in an elusive quest for the “best” book that should contain all the secrets. It is a fool’s errand. While some books are not that good and others a bit better, your problem is not having missed on THE book.

You have the Blue Book and I assume you read through the other two books. Time has come to work through the practices and … use THIS site to discuss the problems that puzzle you.

I agree with @xiggi. Practice & eventual understanding of the way the testmakers want the questions to be answered are key to raising a score on the SAT. If one has finished the practice questions & official tests in the College Board’s Blue Book, it would be best for them to do practice questions from other books with the goal of strengthening their weaknesses. Tests found in books other than the Blue Book are not similar to the SAT test & taking those tests would practice skills different than those needed to do well on the SAT. Solving practice questions will best help a person to raise their score on the SAT.
