Which Test Prep is best?

okie i know everyone is talking about the "blue book" how much does it really help? also what other prep books for the sat and act are there that is realiable and accurate? wat about the Kaplan 12 Tests for the Sat? will that reflect your real scores?

The blue book is the best for practice, because of course those are the official tests. But it doesn't come with explanations and there are no strategies (the lovely people who make the test don't think you need strategy to do well, but they're full of it).

The best book for strategy, which is also the second-best book for practice, is Cracking the SAT (Princeton Review). Hands-down the most popular for strategy. The tests are very realistic and I like the explanations. They have another book with just a bunch more practice tests, called 11 Practice Tests for the New SAT (something like that). I would get that too if you need more tests.

I did not use Kaplan; did not really see them mentioned often for SAT tests but always see BB and PR.

Hope that helps.
