What are the best test prep books for:

SATII Chem
SATII French
APUSH
ACTs

I was thinking of using a combo of Kaplan and PR for Chem, PR and Barron's for French, REA for APUSH, and Real ACTs for the ACTs. However, I was slightly discouraged about buying PR for Chem because of all the negative reports on Amazon saying that it was far too easy. Please help me with this as I need to order them ASAP!! Thanks! =]

for APUSH, REA for detail and PR for general overview/trends

ill bump this one
i also want to know which ones are the best for those other than french
but other ppl might need french

I suck at chemistry, so I am NOT taking that one and can't tell you which book is best, but I have the PR books for ACT, APUSH, and SAT, and they rock. I am going to get their French book as well. I have found that if you generally like the approach one publisher takes, you'll get a lot more out of their other books because the core approach is the same across the tests. Since you already know how they work, it takes less time to figure out the other tests. And PR's review sections for the fundamentals are very helpful too.

Hope this helps...

I really need to know about Chem and French by tonight or tomorrow to order these books. Thanks!!

I heard for chem...PR is pretty good.

So it's not way easier than the actual SATII Chem?
