Best Prep. Books?

Rather than making two seperate threads, I think I'll just post everything here under AP.

This year I'm planning on taking a few tests:

Chemistry AP

English AP Language and Composition

American History AP

Chemistry SAT II (Do I need a seperate book?)

English SAT II (Is it really hard?...)

Math I SAT II

ACT

What are the best prep books for each?

I know its early, but I’m anxious :D

For AP Chem, PR.

English, Cliffnotes

not sure about the others

Note that my answers are from what everyone says. PLus I am using PR for chem too

What can I say, I’m a fanatic.

What’s the best APUSH book now?

Chem: PR
APUSH: AMSCO (I believe you could buy one from amazon)
Chem SAT II: i just used a ap chem textbook to help me study. you could use PR for AP Chem if you want to shorten your studying time, but you have to know what topics to study specifically.
Math 1 SAT II: I heard from other people that colleges usually don’t accept it. So, why not try Math 2.

It’s actually not that early. You should start with Chem and US ASAP. For chemistry, get PR or 5 Steps. Most people on CC like PR but I actually like 5 Steps to a 5 for this one. For US, get AMSCO. It’s still in print. Buy from the publishers website, not Amazon, bc its cheaper. No clue for ACT, probably PR or something. You don’t need a review book for English.

Here’s a great list: search this thread.
