<p>Those of you that take out private loans - what are the best lenders?</p>
<p>I will need around 40k a year.</p>
<p>Please do not ask about details (such as which school) and inform me of the burden I would be taking on by taking out such a large loan. I and my parents have talked it over and are well aware...they and I both feel it is worth it for the quality of education I will receive, and they are considerably wealthy, so will be able to help me cover some of it.</p>

<p>I believe you are looking for, "What is the best lending program?" Which of course only your benefactors and the banker would know.</p>

<p>I don't know much about private loans as of yet - is it primarily done through banks, or are there seperate loan services out there that are better for students?</p>
<p>You can learn alot from the sponsers of CC. People will use Pell, Staffords (unsubsidized and subsidized) and PLUS programs. Refinancing Home and Home Equity Loans are also popular. </p>
