<p>i love how eminem won the best rapper alive title from Vibe and then he said something like I don’t think that there is any one rapper that is simply the best though. Everyone who was in consideration and many others are the best at certain things, and at what they do." </p>

<p>They're all legit...title of 'best rapper alive' seems to go with 'whose the hottest rapper right now'...and with that Id say Weezy and TI. But once Jigga's album drops next year...watch out.</p>
<p>Common and Nas are really good but they never get those hit singles really. Although this new stuff Common's got is fire.</p>
<p>i guess it comes down to your definition of a "good" rapper... entertainment, lyrics, flow, beat.... although i think the rappers i listed are the best alive... even if they are the most popular in some cases. common, andre 3k, and nas aren't "mainstream" and eminem is white haha.</p>

<p>Eminem is the only mainstream rapper to never sell out and keep his lyrics meaningful. 100% of other mainstream rappers have songs about either drugs/sex/violence. </p>
