Best/Realistic SAT II Math Level 2 Book

<p>I normally consider myself good at math (can qualify for AIME, etc.) but I recently got a Barron's SAT II Math Level 2 book to prepare myself for the test in January, and I'm disappointed with the scores I'm getting. I keep hovering around 750-770. Recently I read that Barron's tends to be more difficult than the real test, so I have two questions:</p>

<p>(1) What would a 750 on Barron's correspond to approximately on the real thing?</p>

<p>(2) What company makes books that have more realistic tests (but are not too easy)? I know CollegeBoard releases books, but my library doesn't have them and I don't want to spend money. I do have Princeton Review, Kaplan, and McGraw-Hill available; are any of these the same level as the real test?</p>

<p>But you seriously have nothing to worry about, Barrons is so hard that a 680 on one of the tests in the book corresponds to 800 on the real thing. You’re getting 750 on Barrons, so I’m certain on the real test you’ll finish it with time to spare.</p>

<p>If you’re still not certain then go to CB’s website and try out the practice questions for SAT II Math Level 2. You’ll probably get them all correct.</p>

<p>a 750 on barrons is an 800 guaranteed. Many people with 670+ on the barrons get 800 on math 2. Congrats</p>

<p>I got a 800 on the Math IIC (partial thanks to my ti-89 :slight_smile: )
And i did get around 770-800 on the Baarons so its probably fine. I felt that the actual SAT II was FAR easier than the Baarons. Don’t worry. I feel that the Baarons makes the questions WAY harder than it needs to be. Personally, I feel that the Math IIC tests the more advanced math more than “trickery math” of the SAT I, and that the AMC/AIME is more based on “tricks.” (i got 5 questions right on AIME, which was excruciating to take :P)
Anyways, I dont really feel that you can aptly compare SAT II Math 2C to SAT I or AMC/AIME math. But seems to me that you can get 800 on the Math 2C and more.</p>

<p>For the second question, you can probably go to B&N or something and see if they have the CB books there. (im not sure if they had them or not.)</p>
