Best Residential Academic Programs

Does anyone know anything about the various Residential Academic Programs at the University of Colorado. I know they have different themes, but I'm wondering about which have the best living conditions and stuff.

D was in Sewall, which has an obligatory RAP on US West. It was not hugely interesting to her, but no great burden either, and helped fill some distribution requirements. Definitely worth it as Sewall was a good choice - good location, away from the Farrand field craziness, cool building, new dining hall. Need to apply early as it is popular.

S was in Farrand, their RAP pertained to the liberal arts. I think he took a writing class first semester and a Greek mythology course second semester. S never really talked about the experience of the RAP as a whole; he just took the classes as part of the core requirements outside of his intended major.

The Main Campus dorms are pretty similar. Some of the most popular ones are Farrand, Sewall, Baker, Libby, Cheyenne Arapaho, and Hallett. They are beautiful buildings on the outside, but the insides are pretty old. The newer dorms in Williams Village are much nicer, have air conditioning, etc. But the distinct advantage to being on Main Campus is that you are a much shorter distance to classes and other activities. That’s why nearly everyone wants to live there.
