I'm applying for housing and I'm tied between farrand or sewall for my first choice.
So far I think I would like the Residential Academic Program at Sewall better but I hear that Farrand is a good residential hall because it's much closer to everything.

I think Sewall is the best choice. It is a short walk downtown, right next to the rec center, close to the library, is beautiful and I also think it might be nice to be out of the hectic quad of dorms where Farrand is.

My D was in Sewall and liked it. Being away from the quad was not a problem, and it is closer to the Hill, Pearl St and some class buildings. There are even singles (cost extra).

My son was in Farrand and really liked being in the middle of things. The RAP was okay; think he took a writing course first semester and a mythology course the second. Daughter was in Darley North at Williams Village, but didn’t care for the distance between WillVille and the Main Campus.
