The last time i took bio was in the 9th grade. although i'm a taking ap bio this year, i forgot most of the stuff i learned from 9th grade. so what do you guys think is the best review book? I'm going to have to re-learn a lot of information, so i'm looking for something that goes in depth.

The general consensus on this site is that Princeton Review & Barron’s are the best for studying Biology E/M. Princeton Review is a more thorough, comperhensive, long review of all topics. Barron’s expects you to know a lot of the topics already and goes in to a lot of details that are unnecessary. My recommendation: study from PR and just as a review before the test, look/skim over Barron’s if you have it/are going to buy it.

I have PR and it’s pretty good the diagrams are nice & the quizzes are good

Another tip: I have heard that PR covers a lot of the topics that’s tested on the ACTUAL test while Barron’s over-prepares you, which can be good or bad depending on what type of test-taker you are.

can i ask ??
please send to me the link which contain PR book coz i get it thnx aloot

This is the book I have: [Amazon.com: Cracking the SAT Biology E/M Subject Test, 2009-2010 Edition (College Test Preparation) (9780375429057): Princeton Review: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Cracking-Biology-Subject-2009-2010-Preparation/dp/0375429050)

I’m not trying to advertise it, by the way. I’m just providing a link so that you can get it if you want it. I’m studying off of this book for December. So far, it’s been really comprehensible, though it covers a TON of material, which is good I suppose. It contains 2 full-length practice tests.

yah i have this thanq 2 much RainbowSprinkles
can u give me ur email ??

Do you have any questions in particular? Because we can just discuss them on here, if you don’t mind, since I don’t really use my e-mail lol. I never check it!

You must have Barron’s.

PR is simpler but leaves out quite a bit of detail. If you’re aiming for an 800, I suggest Barron’s

From someone that has both Barron’s and Princeton Review I dont even know which one i’d recommend. Barron’s overprepares and Princeton Review leaves out a few topics here and there. I remember on the actual test there was a question about plant systems that i had skimmed the night before in Barron’s thinking “nah it isnt on sparknotes or in princeton review so no need wasting time on it” and BAM it shows up on the test haha.

If you cant get both i would say get Barron’s if you have alot of time to study it and Princeton Review if you dont.

I used Cliffs AP and Barron’s AP. Both had nice reviews on Amazon, so I decided to get it. Looking back, they were pretty awesome, esp. when used together. I studied Bio from scratch-- after reading through these for months I felt prepared for the most part.

I had PR’s SAT E/M at one point, but I found that it lacked a lot of info. And yes, Barron’s overprepares sometimes, but you can always choose to skip. +Whenever I was unsure about something, I just googled.

Link are here, in case you want to check them out-- [[Barron’s AP]](http://www.amazon.com/Barrons-Biology-Deborah-Goldberg-M-S/dp/0764140515) [[Cliff’s AP]](http://www.amazon.com/CliffsAP-Biology-Cliffs-Ap/dp/0470097647)

Is the Barron’s book thin? The PR book is huge Almost as thick as a SAT I book
