which is the best review book for math 2c i have the RUSH one but i read in this forum that it is a lot harder than the actual ones. Which book has tests most similar to actual test?

i heard princeton review has some realistic tests... but if you want to get overprepared.. get the barrons

Yeah, I used Princeton, Barrons and Kaplan. Barron's was the hardest, but more exhaustive.

Yes, Barrons is good. Overpreparation, but IMO that's good.

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but my bookstore didn't have the Barron's so I got the Kaplan one. Are the practice tests also harder than the real thing like Barron's or are they more or less the same?

kaplan's tests seem harder than CB's tests
i spent yesterday at a bookstore comparing books.

lol :]

Lol hopefully that's true, I've realized that I'm awful at Geometry and did not learn anything in my freshman class.

RUSH should be pretty good, actually. Both Barron's and Rush will overprepare you, but the difference is that Rush actually preps you for the hardest questions on the exam, while Barron's just throws a bunch of **** at you and wastes your time.

I looked back at one of the earlier threads on math 2. The genereral consensus of the thread was something like this: **** BARRON'S! I'M USING PR NOW!" Basically, a lot of people used Barron's to prep for one of the Math exams, and they ended up doing poorly because the book had material which was too advanced for the test.

So, I think that Rush is good for overprepping in a PRODUCTIVE way, in that it prepares you for the hardest questions on the exam (instead of asking you a bunch of questions you may not even see). It's just a bunch of practice tests, and it is awesome practice. Practice is key for Math 2.

It seems like it's a good idea to supplement this with Princeton Review, though, just to make sure that you don't forget how to do the easy questions. Sparknotes tests are also known to be somewhat realistic.

Can someone provide a link for this RUSH book?

Amazon.com: 15 Realistic Tests for the SAT Math Level 2: With Solutions: Rusen Meylani: Books

My son is taking math 2 in june. He gets 2 wrong on other tests except barron's. With Barron's test, he get about 14 wrong and goes over time. That's a BIG difference.

lol. i like hard math questions. perhaps ill get barrons :)

nvm..............

???? What does nvm mean????

nvm means nevermind.
where have you been?
lol

i see you have discovered the internet language :D

lol it means never mind. Barron's has big rep for being extra hard. Personal experience with chemistry.
