Ok so this book store near my house is having a really big sale to get rid of all the AP study books and whatnot. So can you guys tell me what I should pick up for these subjects for next year? Thanks.

-English Lang
-English Lit
-World History
-Calc AB (may be taking BC test)
-European History (I have to selfstudy everything up until the French Revolution on my own so any books that emphasize that would be great)
-US History (may or may not be self-studying, haven't decided yet.)
-Economics, Macro and Micro

for Euro, the review books will only give you an overview of the history, obviously. If you have to study everything untill FR by yourself then I'd try to find a used textbook. There's a used bookstore at the local university (Northern Illinois) that sells textbooks for really really cheap (like under 5 dollars). If there's any place like that near you, I'd try that.

But as a general study guide, I like Princeton Review. Alot of the questions on the exam seemed word for work from the review book. I didn't use anything else though.

I agree, it's all about Princeton. For APUS basically the only studying I did was to read the Princeton review the week before the test, and I got a 5.

I don't think I do. Maybe I'll go to EMU or U Mich at the end of the year and see if they have any. Any in particular that might help?

if you're going to self-study APUS go get AMSCO. it's as complete as a textbook. if you're not going to self-study and supplement, get any book you want, they're all good.

5 Steps to a 5 is the Econ book I use, I think it's pretty damn good. All the books are pretty good in Econ apparently though; my friend has Princeton and she likes it a lot, and Barron's has good reviews on Amazon.com.

Bump. Only bump I promise.

i second amsco for APUSH...we used that book in history class and it was great for the AP exam
