Best Rutgers School for Pre-Med?

I'm currently a high school senior applying to Rutgers. On the application, you have to choose three schools. I chose the school of Arts and Sciences and the school for Biological and Environmental Sciences. I chose both schools with pre-med as my primary interest. Is there a difference between the pre-med program for each school and is one better than the other?

Hi Louie,

The difference between the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS) and School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) is minimal - it really depends on what you find to be a better fit for you personally based on size, core curriculum, and other factors. The best way to decide is to take a campus tour and see which school appeals to you more.

Campus Tour and Academic Sessions:

For the campus tour, choose, “Campus Tour and Academic Session,” and then “Life Sciences/Pre-Med.” You’ll be able to take a tour and then ask an Admissions Counselor any specific questions you may have regarding the pre-med track for either school.

To take a walking SEBS tour:

I hope this has been helpful! If you have any further questions, feel free to message me!

All the best,
