What book seems to be the best to get an 800 on the test? I'm ok with it being comprehensive so I can review, because I have not taken AP Chem. Thanks.

Barrons SAT Chem book is probably the best. The practice tests are harder than the real thing, but prepare you well for the test.

Go with the Barron’s one.

How much harder are the Barron’s tests than the actual?
I’m using Barron’s and I find the practice tests very difficult. I even found the AP exam easier.

I don’t have the bb for Chemistry, but I’ve been told that a 750-770 on Barrons is about an 800 on the actual exam. But, I’m not sure because the Barrons curve is multiple times more generous than the college board one. I think the collegeboard one is about 2-5 questions wrong. Barrons is about 8 (I think).

^ That’s about right. My D missed 6-8 questions on Barrons but only 2-3 on CB and PR. The Barron’s AP Chem is also tougher. They are great for test prep.
