Princeton Review is my Bible for everything to do with testing.

Try searching on this forum by typing in Barron's, Gruber's, Kaplan, or any other companies that make SAT prep books, and you should find posts where posters share their opinions on those books...

I've heard the Official SAT Study Guide is THE book for studying. It's increased peoples' scores dramatically (one guy said his score went from low 1000 to high 2000). It's made by College Board.

I have the Official College Board Book and Princeton Review's 2007 Cracking the SAT for studying/test taking. It may sound excessive, but I got both from my library, and have them for however long I want.

Key message here: go to your library and take however many practice books you want.

ohh ok . thank you everyone!
