Best SAT Study Book?

I am a junior and will be retaking the SAT in October. My original score was a 2120 (CR 700, M 670, W 750). As far as studying went for that, I took about two weeks to read through a short insider's guide kind of book, and took two practice tests. However, I am now going to buckle down and give it my absolute, 100%, whatever-it-takes best effort.

Because I am going for some seriously competitive schools, I need to raise my score to the mid-2200's range. Please help!

What's the best prep book that I can thoroughly complete in a couple of months?

Thanks so much!

Please help me out if you can, thanks. :)

Also, while we are at it, what about the best ACT prep books? I got a 31 on that (27 S, 30 M, 34 R, 34 E, 12/12 on the essay with a combined 35. but who really looks at that?) and it was mostly because of my science and math scores. I actually practiced quite a bit for that one, but I know I can do better. I took a practice test and got a 33 once, with a 36 on my reading and a 33 on my math. I need to bring these scores up somehow, and I will be retaking that in September.

Thanks. Any advice would be great.

(Please specify which test prep books are for which test.)
