Hello everyone, I am having trouble deciding which SAT Subject test(s) I should take. Currently I have just about 4 months of studying left until the test date. I already took the USH subject test, but I am looking to take two more. Unfortunately, my school only offers 3 A.P courses (APUSH, AP Calc AB, and AP Lit), which means I am fairly limited in my selection :P. I am leaning towards taking Math II and Molecular Biology (I am aware that Physics is relatively easy, but Physics is a 12th grade course in my school). Thank you!
Math 2 and Bio are definitely doable. Physics is not relatively easy. I would consider Bio self studiable, but Physics I would not do unless you have taken the class. You can also take a language subject test. Some of them are difficult, but they are doable. Lit is considered one of the hardiest.
@SternBusiness Oh okay awesome, thanks! BUMP
bumpppppp
Any test for which you have had the high school course for. Math level 2 is often an easy 800 for strong math students who completed a good high school precalculus course.
If you are natural in critical reading the literature test is what the math test is for the strong math students. My kid just showed up for the literature and aced it, no prep other than looking at the blue book the night before.
Also, if you are a good critical thinker Bio E is easier than M since a lot of the questions could be answered with general knowledge plus logic.
The best way to figure out is to take practice tests from the blue book. Every student is different.
@am9799 Yea I just bought the blue book, I’m almost certain I’ll take Bio E/M & Math II. Bought the Barron books for both subjects. Thanks for your help!
