how bout GTech

that's been mentioned

The "R" that is Rochester is Rochester Institute of Technology.

I think (I do not know for sure) that Georgia tech is a pretty good engineering school with regards to academics, however with regards to everything else I think the students there hate the school, and they hate everything about Georgia Tech. That is what I have heard, but maybe it is just a myth.

I know a Georgia Tech grad who loved his experience there and recommends it to potential engineering students.

Nominating Rice, seconding Harvey Mudd & Olin.

Oh yeah, Olin is insane.

im_blue's top 15 was "Top undergraduate engineering programs at schools whose highest degree is a doctorate." US News also has top programs for schools who don't grant doctorates. The top 3 there are:

(for engineering in general)
1. Rose-Hulman
2. Harvey Mudd
3. Cooper Union

how about Penn. State Unv. or Unv or Pitt? how do those rank?

just curious.

thnx

I've heard good things about PSU's engineering. I don't know anything quantatative like a ranking.
