There are many things that i have interests in. One of those thigns ive been exploring recently is the possibility of being an agent for actors, actresses and so on. Would the best schools for this just be the regular top biz schools like Wharton and Stern. Also, what major or concentration would this be defined as

how about on the east coast

Comedy answer:

People actually want to beome agents?! ;)

Real answer:

Any "prestige" east coast school will be fine. You become an agent by being smart, well dressed, atriculate, & ABOVE ALL serving as a slave in the mailroom or as a secretary/assistant to a senior agent in an agency. Dealing well with screamers and sociopaths is a plus.

I was a screenwriter BK (before kids) and know tons of agents. All of them got in this way. If you go to Law School that is probably more helpful than biz school (contracts, etc) but you will still be in the indentured servant department for a time.

Kidding aside, one of my good friends is head of legal dept. for a talent agency. She likes her job and it has been flexible with telecommuting, etc. And a couple of agents I know have done very very well financially.

But you do have to realize you are dealing with CRAZY people, and worse: crazy, spoiled, rich, people, 24/7.
