Best schools for International Relations & Political science?

I've been looking at Chapman and the University of San Francisco. How are the programs there? Any other schools in the West/California you suggest?

Stanford, Berkeley (more for political science than IR), USC, UCSD

<a href=“Inside the Ivory Tower - Wikipedia”>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inside_the_Ivory_Tower

Stanford, Berkeley, UCSD, and USC all show up in the Ivory Tower IR rankings.
So does UCLA.
Another ~Western possibility is the University of Denver (Korbel School), which would be much less selective than most of the others we’re mentioning. These are the California/Western schools that show up somewhere (anywhere) in the IT/IR rankings.

Many colleges have good political science departments. To identify especially strong departments at research universities, you could consider the US News or NRC/Chronicle graduate program rankings.
