Best Schools for Political Science/History Double Major?

I know UCLA, UC Berkeley, Stanford and I think UCSD are among them, so I was wondering if the following were schools that were just as good:

USC
Pepperdine
UC Irvine

I'm in the top quarter of my class, and I'm involved in clubs and community service and I have a weighted GPA of 4.5 and my SAT scores are around 1860-1940, I'm not sure yet because I have to retake in October and during SAT prep, my scores were in that general area.

I'm not sure if I'd get into the more competitive schools so I wanted a few alternatives. And since common apps were opened today, I'd like to get some feedback as soon as possible so I could make some decisions!

Thank you (:

By alternatives I suppose you mean colleges that have a >25% acceptance rate? UMich and UVA have got some pretty good programs in those fields.

I know it is off topic but thought to ask since you are obviously a History junkie like me…
I can’t afford Williams or BC or Holy Cross so looking for best STATE School for HISTORY or Pol Sci … Looking at UCONN, SUNY ALBANY , SUNY BINGHAMTON and UMASS AMHERST
