<p>depends on what kind history you are talking about but those two are definately top places for history majors.....</p>
<p>im sure those schools are AMAZING but for History but any schools not as hard to get into? I'm 2/235 in my class 1930 SAT, 29 ACT and not taking any SAT II's. So anyone know of a school that I could possibly get into thats good for History because Harvard and Princeton are definately out of the picture.</p>
<p>what state do you live sr06? you could look at good state schools. I chose Berkeley and I am an intended history major.</p>

<p>I would imagine that most flagship state schools will have a strong History Department -- also because history is such a diverse field you might want to look into what area of history that school is strong (eg. US, European, Ancient etc).</p>
