anymore schools (or better, rankings) for #1? probably less difficult to get into than georgetown?

Hopkins and Georgetown are most definitely reaches, UVA, Tufts, BU, George Washington, Northeastern, American University, are descending matches in that order.

"is NYU's econ offered in stern or just CAS?"

Both. The department is shared. Econ in Stern is (naturally) more business oriented and in CAS it is more theoretial. Stern will grant a BS in Econ and CAS will grant a BA in Econ.

Claremont McKenna is great for government and economics majors. I can't really say the same for international business since it doesn't even have a department in this field. Just so you know, if you're not cut out for NYU Stern, then CMC is probably not the school for you either.

i just looked at CMC briefly...pretty competitive...nice campus. lol. but good thing is, i live in NJ. so it's out of the question. not that i have a chance gettin into it tho...haha.

CMC isn't completely stern/wharton like. I think it has an environment that students are serious about what they're majoring in, and so naturally they push each other. They also don't take themselves seriously, they party hard as well.

Maybe you should look at Rutgers.. They are 50th best business undergraduate program.. They have good business program especially Finance and Accounting.. And they are probably easier to get in than Georgetown..

RU will definitely be on my list. it's the one school that i'm 1000% sure. lol.
but recently i have been thinking about business schools. i realized that so many ppl want to get into that field. so that ought to make the admissions more difficult. in addition, w/the number of ppl goin into business, i'm kinda worried that the demand will ultimately become insufficient to support all the business kids.

what else is RU extremely good with? wat about econ and the int'l stuff?
