Best Science Class to take Senior Year?

I have taken Biology (A/A), Summer Chemistry (B/B), APES (B/B), and Physics (B/?)- next year I will be a senior and the science classes I have to choose from are:
1. Physiology
2. Honors Physiology
3. Honors Chemistry
4. AP Chemistry
5. AP Biology
Based on my previous course load which course would be best to take- in your opinion?

If by ‘best’ you mean the most rigorous class which you are likely to do well in, then probably AP Bio.

Not most rigorious per se, just what should I take to make sure I cover my bases science wise before college so I know a little bit of everything.

What do you plan to study in college? To what colleges are you applying?
AP Biology would be the most rigorous if you’re applying to a Top 50 university/LAC, otherwise Honors Physiology or Honors Chemistry are fine.

I’m planning to go into the humanities. I have no idea where I will be applying- but probably something in the Cal State range. Now that I think about it maybe I dont need to take science next year- opinions on that?

Cal States are numerical, they don’t care about rigor. They multiply SAT score X GPA.
Some majors are impacted and some campuses are impacted too. It means you need more than the basics to get in.
However for UCs it’d be beneficial to have Honors classes. UCs will be better for Humanities majors and have better graduation rates (what’s your GPA? Would UC Santa Cruz, UC Riverside, UC Merced be possibilities?)
In both cases, Honors Physiology sounds like the option that keeps the most doors open for you.
Do you have all your A-g requirements? If you’re missing even one class from the list, you’re stuck with community college (not that it’s so terrible, but it doesn’t sound like your top option). Note that classes taken over the summer after 11th grade DO count toward the A-g requirements.

You already have the three main ones (biology, chemistry, and physics), so you satisfy the d (science) requirement from the UC/CSU a-g requirements. Additional science of your choice can count toward the g (academic elective) requirement, but so can other academic electives of your choice if you choose to take something other than additional science. (Congratulations on being a prospective humanities major who is not afraid to take science courses – knowledge of science can be helpful in unexpected ways in the future.)

Rigor beyond the a-g requirements is based on +1 honors points for up to 8 semesters’ worth of honors courses taken in 10th-11th grades (see http://www.ucop.edu/doorways</a> to see what courses at your high school qualify). However, the honors points in 12th grade courses won’t affect CSU admission, although UC holistic reading will consider the rigor of your 12th grade schedule.
