<p>I didn't say that was the case. I just said that a band wouldn't be considered "The Greatest American Rock Band" if they were terrible. Pearl Jam does the best cover of Baba O'Riley by far, but I'll agree their Love Reign O'er Me cover does leave a lot to be desired.</p>
<p>I don't think Pearl Jam is overrated, especially not nowadays. Perhaps these are just the people I know, but many people just like to think of them as another "90's grunge band that wished they could be Nirvana."</p>
