Seriously. That’s the trump card of senior songs.

this one always makes me wanna cry…its a really good grad song:

“I Will Remember You” by Ryan Cabrera

Viva la Vida by Coldplay?
Perfect Day by Lou Reed? (that might be too funeralesk though)
Miss American Pie by Don McLean?

I seriously cannot understand why your generation is so fascinated with this song, that’s all my kids friends’ walk around singing.

I blame Randy Jackson.

The Futurama song was “I Will Wait for You” by The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. I believe I shed a tear at that scene. So sad.

Oh yeah, the song was from episode of the death of his Fry’s brother’s son in the future. I think.

Journey is so overplayed.

I saw them in concert 3-4 years ago (obviously without Steve Perry, but the new guy was pretty good). I actually enjoyed the concert. But now that I’ve heard all their songs on the radio recently, hearing anymore Journey makes me irritated.

“For Good” from Wicked (the musical)
It’s a beautiful song that’s perfect to be sung at graduation… It basically talks about how your high school friends have changed you.

“So Long Goodbye” by Sum 41
It’s a nice, slow paced song.

Actually, a lot of the Boys Like Girls songs could be interpreted to fit Graduation. But “the great escape” actually is about it.

“I Will Remember You” by Sarah McLaughen?

Secret O’ Life James Taylor…slow and perfect for a slide show…really I guarantee it

Time of Your Life…not sure if that’s the title. It was used as the end song for the finale show of “Seinfeld”
