Best UC PRE-MED Post Bacc program

Just thought I would inquire/gain insight on the best post bacc program in the UC. I have heard that many are shutting down due to budget costs...

any direction? thank you in advance.

I don’t know too much about post-bacs, but I’ll share what I do know.

A girl I used to work on the same floor with just graduated from UCLA with a Psych B.A. (GPA of 3.89) this past spring and she’s applied to UC Berkeley Extension’s post-bac.

She’s also applied to USC’s post-bac premed program.

From what I know, Cal’s Extension post-bac program is the ONLY UC post-bac pre-med program for regular students.

There’s a discussion about this here:
[Requirements for PostBacc programs in California [Archive] - Student Doctor Network Forums/url

and you can go here to find programs:
[url=<a href=“http://services.aamc.org/postbac/]Postbaccalaureate”>http://services.aamc.org/postbac/]Postbaccalaureate Premedical Programs - Search](<a href=“Requirements for PostBacc programs in California | Student Doctor Network”>Requirements for PostBacc programs in California | Student Doctor Network)

although I’m sure you’re familiar with the latter.

On another note, there’s usually none or rarely any government financial aid available for post-bac programs. I’m just tossing that in in case that’s why you’re looking for a public school’s program.

um… trying to see if I can tap anything else from my head… nope no more at the moment hahaha.

Hope I’ve given correct information and that perhaps it helps!
Goodluck!
