Best UC school for Economics?

I’m just wondering which UC is the best for Economics?? I plan to either get my MBA or become a Certified Public Accountant. Which UC would give me the best opportunities for internships???

UCSB (business economics)
[Economics - UC Santa Barbara 2007-2008 General Catalog](http://www.catalog.ucsb.edu/2008cat/depts/econ.htm)

UCSD (probably managment science BS)
[UCSD Department of Economics](http://www.econ.ucsd.edu/ugradprog/program_requirements.shtml)

UCD (managerial economics)
[Managerial Economics](<a href=“Majors | UC Davis”>Majors | UC Davis)

UCLA (business economics)
[UCLA Department of Economics](http://www.econ.ucla.edu/)

San Diego is worthless if you want to go into the business/accounting fields. For economics Berkeley is the best hands down.

I hear Santa Barbara has a decent accounting program but I’d check that.

Berkeley is the best. UCLA isn’t too shabby either.

How about a list of the top 4 UCs for econ?

^ According to the old NRC rankings the top 3 are (unsurprisingly):

Berkeley
LA
San Diego

4 is probably SB or Davis.

They are not ranked for undergraduate.
