Best ucs for ecology and public health

Which UC schools are the best for ecology and/or public/global health? How about CSU’s? Also do any UC’s or CSU’s other than UC Davis have any programs like their new Global Disease Biology Major?

All 9 UCs and most of the CSUs offer credible programs in those fields. As you’d guess, the top ones are pretty competitive. What are your qualifications so I can help direct you further?

I am a junior by the way.
My U/W GPA is 3.93 and my W is 4.45. I took AP Euro last year and got a 4 on the test, I am taking 3 AP’s this year and plan to take more senior year (3-4).
I am in band and marching band and I did jazz band last year, I volunteered at a summer camp last summer. I am the historian of my schools GSA and International amnesty clubs and am a member of philosophy club and I may be in CSF (it is really confusing at my school)
I volunteered with many mansions freshman year.
I live in California
I am interested in majoring in the biological sciences.
I was on a Relay for life team freshman year and a team captain sophomore year and I intend to do it again this year.
I tutor a few 8th graders in math and science and I babysit.
I do martial arts (started very recently)
I got 207 on the PSAT without studying (I will study for the sat)
I have done a Chinese dance performance at my school Twice (20 service hours each time I think)

I am taking classes at the local community college

Georgetown and Duke also have a Global Disease Bio Major if interested.

That’s quite a track record. Looks like you’ll qualify for top UCs - assuming your SAT is in line with PSAT. Be sure to apply broadly though. Nobody has a lock on admission at UCLA, UCB or even UCSD anymore. UCD, UCI, UCSB and UCSC are all very good.

Great job so far and good luck.
