Im a junior from NYC suburbs, looking to major in Finance. I go to Catholic high school, there a 7 kids in my class we're all pretty much on same level, no rankings.

No honors or AP courses, My uw gpa is around 3.6.

SATs will be around 1850( give or take 50 points each way)

ECs:
Will be 4 years basketball team(starting center)
Working one summer as a a telemarketer for marketing company
Over 100-150 hours community service, some helping to rebuild convents and stuff for Catholic Church, will also be spending 2 weeks this summer volunteering to help Hurricane Katrina rebuilding effort.

Looking for ugrad colleges that will be able to give me a good job on Wall Street, high paying and highly rewarding job. Tuition is not a problem, location is not a problem, no boundaries .. If good companies recruit on campus that's great..... Fire away at what colleges I can get into with these stats, possible safeties-matches-reaches will be appreciated. I'm afraid becuase my stats aren't good enough for Wharton or Stern I'll never be able to get a good business job. =\

I have virtually 0 connections in business world too, btw, 1st generation son of 2 Irish immigrants.

like what schools are we talking? i wouldnt want to go to most SUNYs as i have friends who go there and they say that they are underfunded hell holes

Fordham University's undergraduate College of Business Administration (CBA) is a great school if your goal is to land a Wall Street gig. Outstanding internship program and alumni network. They also have an MBA program.

Given your stats, I'd say it's a match school.

Could you possibly get recruited for Basketball? Because if so, I think you might have a decent shot at Penn (Wharton) ED. You will never know until you apply.

I would go for Fordham, Baruch, NYU (very good prospects for working on wall street, as is hashed out in soo many other threads), Indiana, and if i think of others ill post them later.

Im pretty surprised there are no mentions of NYU in this thread. That would have been first on my list.

Why spend $200k for a business education that is not as good as Baruch? He could take the $200k and learn to become an investor! (Best way to learn how to become a Wall Street investor is to be one!)
