Can someone tell me the book that helped them the most with Critical reading and writing, and tell me how much it helped ;you and the technique used. i have 800 math, 530 Cr, 570 writing and i'm looking to change those scores please help and also cna you list vocab list that helped the most, i have 5 months to study please help.

I studied the Sparknotes 1000 words and the Barron's method for critical reading and raised my 670 to a 780.

I studied Princeton Review's Hit Parade list, and I used the Princeton Review prep book to help with both critical reading and writing. It helped raise my score from a 550 to 690.

Sparknotes 1,000 + Blue Book Tests = 670--->750

^ Ye SN 1000 is very good

The PR book is great.

umm for the writing, practice writing essays, raising your essay score helps the overall score, mine went from 470 to 680 by getting 12 one the essay

vocab: barrons 3500

Blue book practice tests. 690 --> 730 CR (not great, but I was doing practice tests and getting 2 - 3 wrong max on CR sections, but I guess I screwed up on test day...)

After doing a bunch of practice tests, you get the feel of what the "best" answer is supposed to be. Obviously vocab memorization also helps, but definitely aim for 3-5 practice tests beforehand.

Well, I've only taken the test once, but I got a 730 on Critical Reading. :D These are some sites I used.

I hope this helps.

is Rocket Review's vocab list better than Princeton Review's Hit Parade?

I was wondering, because they were written by the same guy (Adam Robinson).

Why did he even choose to write a book on his own anyway? He was the head author of Princeton Review's SAT I believe.

would u consider book such as vocabulary cartoons 2 for sat good studding book, it has pictures, mnemonics, and most common sat wordes and divides them in groups to help you remabmer them best

can anyone answer my question about Rocket Review's Vocab vs Princeton Review's?

IMHO PR is better.
