Next year I am taking AP Biology and AP English Literature. But I plan on taking AP Us gov and AP Psch exams. I am actually intrested in these subjects but my school offers semster courses only, I signed up for BIO-Pschology and Us government but I want to try to learn more and maybe get college credit by taking the exam. (to help me get my college degree faster-money is a challenge for me)

What I have done already

I have already taken APUSH and have done well (in the class and feel confident on the exam) so I have a background knowledge of the subject.

I have Psch textbook already and I have read three chapters, and took copious notes. I plan on reading the whole book over the summer and making notecards for all the words in the glossary.

I know I need to get prep books. For Pschology-Barrons and what is the best for US gov?

Also, the point of this-any tips for anyone who has self-studied these subjects before and how to plan this out? AP Bio is the hardest AP course at my school so I need some ideas on how to manage my time. Psch I don't feel bad about but Us government I do not even know the best prep book for.

P.S Do the prep books change that much year to year? Because I can get a new ones for 2006-2007 for a lot cheaper onlime and the new books are not out yet.

For US Govt, buy the Princeton Review book and study it like crazy. PR is all you need to get a 5 on the exam; however, you might want to study court cases by yourself, since PR doesn't cover them too well.

Jman2306-The great thing about taking APUSh before is that my teacher before the exam gave us this MEGA packet of all the important supreme cases that explained them in layman's terms so that is no problem. I am a packrat so I keep everything.

MCOW-OMG-I would die if I did that I am a humanities person who is terrible at languages.
