i'm looking at the review books/sample test books on amazon.com, and there seem to be a lot of conflicting opinions. I think I definitely want to get the "SAT II Math with TI" book, but other than that, I'm not sure which way to go. what would y'all recommend? thanks.

p.s. i took the test already once and got a 640 (even after studying). hoping to make a big improvement this time around (in november)....

yeah last year i used a graphing calculator when i didn't know how to use it.... hence horrible results. this time i will either just use a scientific or actually learn how to use a graphing.

but just to clarify, i was asking which books are the best to buy. i don't plan on taking a class or anything like that. thanks.

but unfortunately, amazon says it'll take until october 10-17 for me to get it, meaning i'll have about 3-4 weeks to prepare for the november sat. do you think this is enough time (keep in mind i will be quite busy and won't be able to study for that much time) or should i get a different book that will ship faster (and then, of course, the question is, which book)?

For me, I just reviewed my trig book the day before (didn't need to know most of what was in it for the actual test), and for 3 weeks before the test, I went through the PR and Sparknotes book (I highly recommend the PR one, not at all the Sparknotes one).

Princeton Review is great for me- it explained everything well. I have the sparknotes book which is okay but nothing great. I love Princeton Review! Barrons is great too bc it makes everything harder. Do those for practice. GL!
