Best way to study for SAT: Doing School?

This has just came up since i'v been accepted into some schools.(Wake,Michigan,UVA)
I got a 2190 superscore out of three tries and 2130 on my third try.
I got 760 on mathII and US History and 630 on Spanish.

I know that these are nothing to brag about, but...
I have a feeling that the best way to study is just to take high course-rigor. I know that Ap Lang/comp is a huge reason that I was able to get my verbal and writing both over 700. My APUSH was way more that enough to get my desired score on SATII USHist. I took BC calc junior year. Four AP's last year, Six this year.

So, ideas? Is it possible to use normal highschool to train for the SAT?

And this is cheaper than using prep-courses or books. :)

I agree; because I took AP Lang, my score jumped ~100 in the practice tests. The class helped me analyze the sat reading excerpts more efficiently.

I think reading literature is the best way to prepare for the writing and verbal sections, but I suppose school is a good way to prepare for the math section.
