Any tips on how to approach either section? Like for English, should I read skim the passage and then read it carefully as I answer the questions?

I'm also WAY too slow in Reading. I took a practice test and only finished 3 passages. For the SATs it helped me a lot to underline any lines mentioned in the questions first and then skim through the passage, answering the questions for the underlined portions as I went along. That didn't seem to work this time. Is the best way just to read the whole passage first and then answer the questions?

Also, would you say bubbling as you go along is most efficient or only for certain sections?

Ok. In Reading, I got a 35, 34, 32, and a 33, on practice tests. What you need to do is skim the passage and get what they are talking about. Don’t dwell on the words you don’t know. They DON’T matter. Read the question, and re skim the passage for a keyword that is in the uestion. Once you find it, go answer. Repeat. lol

It is basically reading quickly and keeping going. Mark C if you don’t get to them. :)

I just read the passage carefully, and then I answer all of the questions quickly with limited reference back to the passage. I got a 36 on reading the last time I took it, so it works.
