Im thinking about doing WS for the winter and spring quarters and Im just wondering what jobs you recommend (or don't recommend)?

Bruin Cafe is the best job! You get to keep your cool uniform, meet new people everyday, you get paid $9.25 an hour and $10.25 an hour if you work after 7 PM (or 9 PM, I forgot), you get grab a sandwich and pastry and coffee and chips and fruit all together if you want every time you leave your shift, and most importantly, you get to serve hungry, grouchy, unemployed college students.

Seriously though, it’s a decent job.

or work in the library and get paid to do homework!

One of the easiest jobs is being a computer lab proctor. Not much skills involved, and half the time you can go online or do homework.

Another good WS job I had was cleaning and organizing a professor’s office for $15/hr. Highly doubt this position will come up again but it was awesome.

Worst job is administrative assistant, try to avoid those unless you like sitting at a desk and going through documents for half day shifts.

Best is when they pay you a lot to interact with other students, preferably the sort you’d like as friends. By jr/sr year, best is where it’s the sort of work that can go on your resume.
