Best/Worst Experiences at Community College

You know what? I thought you were cultured and would be impressed by the fact that I was inviting you over to see The Grudge 2. I was planning on treating you to delicious Spam sandwiches and a foot massage.

You missed out, lady!

hahaha I love this thread

thanks mike! :)

and what did you tell the guy karol?

&at essenar’s comment: hahaha…

oh essenar…you’re weird. lol

Luke–I told him I was busy, and he said “i know you’re lying. but i’ll forgive you if you come over.” and I never spoke to him again ahhaha

hahaha, nice;

I guess it was my fault for being nice to him. I mean, if a girl is nice to a guy that means she wants to go out with him. common knowledge right??

who knows what he was thinking lol :)

best experience: the moment i found out i got accept to UCLA

Worst experience: the moment i found out what it meant by “maintaining good academic standing” in UCLA provisional contract

Plus Karol, you go to City College. I went to City for Biology 107 during Summer 2009 and wow are there some weird people there. At Mesa college you might not have that problem. Most of the people I meet are down to earth and pretty chill and goal oriented. A block away from City College, there’s homeless drug addicts sleeping on the streets and they walk up to girls while they’re walking to the trolley station and bug them.

I almost leveled some guy because he was being a little “too aggressive” with a girl from my class, and I saw it from behind so I stepped in. I was afraid to punch him, from fear that I’d cut my hand on his teeth and get aids or something, so I just shoved him and told him to take off.

When a girl is nice to a guy it means they have a green light? I’m not familiar with this rule. Wow, I am so oblivious.

best: cheap prices for units, local, nice people (for the most part)

worst: some of the people (for the least part), can’t really complain…

SD City College- WHAT?! I thought I was alone here!

Best: Being on of the “smart kids” in nearly every class.

Worst: telling people that I go to City College.

worst experience: Armenian stalker, druggie parking stalker and getting my purse with all its belongings stolen from me.

best experience: getting the **** out. lol j/k
best experience: student government.

Best experience: Joining MESA, meeting lots of cool people

Worst Experience: underestimating my igetc Polisci class and getting a C - my lowest grade ever! Still can’t believe it. The guy told us he was the easiest professor ever, he said that the lowest grade in the last class he taught was a B, blah blah blah

So what did I do? I was like woohoo! easy A! and ended up with a C, without even knowing it. Opening my report card for that semester was a huge surprise. Still can’t believe I pulled A’s in all the hardest classes, and got my one C in the class I should’ve easily beaten (if only I actually did more hw/etc). Sure taught me a lesson haha.

Santa Rosa JC is pretty bad too. Lots of antisocial people, which is surprising since there are like 35,000 students here.

wherever i end up at (UCLA, Berkeley, USC), it all started here at community college. i couldn’t have done it without them. and for that, i am very grateful for all the people from CCC that helped me reach my goals.

Best:

 • not really studying, but still pulling a 3.5+ gpa
 • having the same classmate from previous classes, but still not knowing his/her name
 • having small talk with certain people in your classes, but acting like you don’t know them when you walk by them in public
 • meeting my current group of friends who are just as motivated in school as i am, but can still have a good time
 • getting into UCLA.

Worst:

 • people talking in the library
 • annoying older students who ask the stooopeedest questions

Hey, I thought SRJC was the coolest!

Worst: sitting next to some dude who was surfing porn in the library and not even being discreet about it.

Best: none

@andrizzle “annoying older students who ask the stooopeedest questions”

They drive me crazy, they keep talking and talking and annoy everyone in class.
