I've seen this topic at other schools but..... best and worst things about Georgetown?

Best thing about Georgetown: Location. To think that there's such a good school right in DC is pretty awesome.

Worst thing about Georgetown: It's Catholicism, or lack thereof. When I visited, it definitely felt as though there was an issue of identity.

Best - location and reputation. By location, I mean the internships you get and the speakers you can see. My freshman year, Clinton, Chertoff, Scalia, Karzai, Laura Bush, Schwarzeneggar, etc all visited. When Karzai came, secret service prevented me from getting to my professor's office hours, which was cool and lame at the same time.

Worst - lots of preppiness, collar popping, self important people. Not everyone obviously, but more than at most schools.

issue of identity?

i like this topic. i visited and i liked how there were a few nice, old cool buildings mixed in with new ones. plus, great location! i'm not sure of negatives.... i just got accepted EA and am trying to make some decisions!
