I am between George Washington and BU for their 7 yr med program. I wanted to know how the summers are like. From what I understand, BU makes you give up one of your summers (between sophomore and junior year), and I'm not sure what GW requires in terms of taking summer classes. MCAT is not required at GW, which is a HUGE plus. But then again, BU is a much more reputable school (in top 30 according to USNWR). Also, which is easier to get into.
I have 95 GPA and 2300 SAT superscore and a few extracurriculars; i know that's vague, but does anyone think I have a shot? Thanks for taking the time to answer!

BU is ranked 51 by USNWR not that it should be a major factor in your decision. If you are aspiring to enter an accelerated Medical program and are concerned about giving up a summer to school, then you may not be a good candidate for that type of program.

Yes but I was comparing the two - I was wondering if GW requires students to give up their summer as well

Also I was referring to BU being in the top 30 med schools. Does anyone think I have a chance of getting in to either program?

So, you are choosing without being accepted? Interesting…
