Hi all,
i am dreaming of studying at one of the top universities in the US such as Harvard, Stanford or the MIT, but i am afraid of the hard choosing of the applicants. Do I have better chances to get in one of the top schools as a graduate student? I am from Germany, now attending high school, and i have to decide whether I should apply to a top U directly after finishing school of whether it is maybe better to do my undergraduate studies in Germany and come to the US then.
Can anybody help?
I am not sure what exactly I am going to study but it will be somewhere around medcine/biochemestry.

I don't think it gets easier at those schools for graduate programs. I would try now, hard or not, that gives you a second chance later if you don't make undergrad. If you don't try, you only have one not two chances.

and what about the application? Are my grades at school still interesting when i am appliying for graduate studies? And my ec´s from the time i was at school??
