right now going to suffolk community college and trying to think of what school to go transfer. My places i want to go to school are either here in NY or flordia. Im getting my associates in buisness administration but im going for management information systems cuz of higher salary. Dont feel like going upstate ny cause of cold weather. The only place i would be interested in is the city.

Benefits of going to new york: cheaper than florida, internships would be good there
however not best weather

Benefits of going to florida: best weather, good school,
however very expensive more than double tuition for out of state

Where would you go, im trying to go to a place where I have fun but a good education...Im just clueless cause i could see myself going to all of these three schools...

I am sitting in Tampa freezing right now but at least there isn’t any snow. I would stick to Baruch. You’re already up there, things will be easier.

Weather isn’t such a big deal IMO. I moved down here a couple years ago from Chicago. It is warmer but other things balance it out. Like insects… insects are a fact of life here. Snakes too. Things that up north you don’t really have to think about. Up North I never had to worry about my dog catching a poisonous toad!

Baruch seems like a good school. It’s cheaper. You could use that money for something else after college. If I were out of state for FSU I wouldn’t apply. What about Miami?

I wanted to add, NY employers with offices in Florida and CA will recruit at Baruch. It is highly regarded. Because you are in NYC, you will get top notch internships. The only caution i would say is they do not generally provide housing (as far as I know) and NYC is expensive, unless you can live with relatives.
