Well, I've been accepted to both of these schools, and I am so confused on which one to go to.
I like both campuses, and the experience is different at both, and i would enjoy whichever one.

I want to major in actuarial science/applied math & possibly double in finance, and eventually take the tests to become an actuary.
Not minding finances, which one would you recommend?

Stony will definitely give you more of a traditionall college feel. It also will have a bigger sports program if you are into watching sports. I know that they also have train access on or very near the campus to NYC. I don't know too much about Baruch but it is supposed to have a good busines program if your major is finance and it probably is a lot of fun being in the city. You probably can't go wrong with either. Just your personal preference.

Yeah I agree. It is your personal preference.

I would say Baruch...just because it's in the city and that could be really fun. And upstate new york i believe (stony brook is in upstate ny if I'm correct) is more boring in my opinion.

oh my bad. Haha BUT lol whenever I think of SUNYs I think upstate ny. It's horrible, but I alwyas thought all the SUNYs were in upstate ny. lol sorry about that mix up
